Rebuild Strength Safely & Effectively

Injury recovery can feel isolating or overwhelming, especially as we age. At Active Life 40+, we understand the unique challenges of healing after injury in midlife and beyond. That’s why we offer rehabilitation training that’s customised, mobile, and empowering.

Our Injury Rehabilitation Focus Areas:

  • Post-surgery mobility training

  • Muscle reconditioning & flexibility

  • Joint support & strengthening

  • Balance & coordination retraining

  • Falls prevention techniques

  • Cognitive & motor recovery for neurological injuries

We create gentle, progressive exercise plans that support both physical healing and long-term resilience. Our approach aligns with NHS recovery guidelines and is suitable for individuals recovering from orthopaedic surgeries, falls, musculoskeletal injuries, or neurological episodes such as strokes.

What to Expect from Your Programme

Each client begins with a comprehensive consultation, where we assess your condition, goals, and physical capacity. Your personalised plan includes:

  • Strength and flexibility exercises tailored to your injury

  • Low-impact aerobic routines to restore endurance

  • Balance drills to improve stability and reduce falls

  • Core strengthening for spinal and joint support

  • Pain management through movement and mobility

We adapt every session based on your progress and comfort, ensuring you regain movement without risking re-injury.
